» Understand the macroeconomic environment for organizations and the answers from political economy;
» Identify the GDP components and GDP impact on the functioning of the economy;
» Understand the role of money and the functions of the Central Bank;
» Show the importance of the economic framework to the company;
» Analyse the impacts of macroeconomic factors on the performance of the company;
» Understand the evolution of the Portuguese economy and its external competitiveness;
» Understand both globalization and regionalism of the world economy.
